Framed prints arrive ready to hang
Framed paper prints are matted with a 2" white mat and protected by non-glare acrylic, so the image stays clear without reflections from windows or lights. Acrylic is lighter and safer to ship than glass, and every framed print arrives with hanging hardware already attached.
MetalPrints with a float mount or frame also arrive ready to hang.

About this photograph
'Fishing' captures a quiet, early autumn moment at Newport News Lake in Virginia, where the day's first light gently brushes the landscape with a soft, golden glow. The shoreline bursts with a lively patchwork of fall colors—fiery oranges mingle with burnished yellows, deep reds, and lingering greens—each leaf seemingly eager to tell its seasonal story. You can see these rich hues reflect crisply on the lake’s glassy surface, doubling the scene’s warmth and inviting you to lose yourself in the mirrored tranquility. A small rowboat, quietly rocking near the right edge of the frame, hosts a solitary fisherman clad in light, casual attire. His calm presence punctuates the composition with a human touch that feels both thoughtful and serene, as if he’s part of the lake’s slow rhythm. The water’s stillness and the subtle interplay of light on ripples create a soothing atmosphere—one that encourages you to reflect gently and escape, even if just for a moment, from the rush of daily life. The photograph’s balanced composition and carefully observed lighting highlight the subtle shifts as dawn brightens the scene, making the colors glow without overwhelming their natural warmth. It’s an invitation for you to experience early morning calm, where nature’s quiet spectacle unfolds effortlessly, and every element—trees, water, boat, fisherman—works in harmony to celebrate the simple but profound beauty of an autumn day by the water.
