Framed prints arrive ready to hang
Framed paper prints are matted with a 2" white mat and protected by non-glare acrylic, so the image stays clear without reflections from windows or lights. Acrylic is lighter and safer to ship than glass, and every framed print arrives with hanging hardware already attached.
MetalPrints with a float mount or frame also arrive ready to hang.

About this photograph
Dawn at the Virginia Beach Fishing Pier offers that transitional light when the sky shifts from night's purples and blues to sunrise's warm oranges and golds. The challenge is capturing this brief color gradient—it lasts maybe fifteen to twenty minutes before the sun rises high enough to wash out the subtle tones.
The pier extending toward the horizon creates a natural leading line, emphasized by the perspective of shooting from beach level. Low tide exposes wet sand that acts as a mirror, reflecting the sky's colors and doubling the visual impact of the dawn palette. The calm water typical of early morning creates gentle, minimal wave action rather than dramatic surf.
Positioning low to emphasize the foreground sand and its reflective qualities while keeping the pier and horizon in clear relationship requires careful composition. The wet sand's texture and the sky's color gradient provide most of the visual interest in this minimalist dawn seascape.
Dawn's color transition and reflective wet sand create serene, minimal composition at this mid-Atlantic fishing pier.
