Framed prints arrive ready to hang
Framed paper prints are matted with a 2" white mat and protected by non-glare acrylic, so the image stays clear without reflections from windows or lights. Acrylic is lighter and safer to ship than glass, and every framed print arrives with hanging hardware already attached.
MetalPrints with a float mount or frame also arrive ready to hang.

About this photograph
“Laural Creek Cascades” takes me back to a quiet moment beside a forest stream, where water spills over layered rocks beneath a green canopy. Moss-covered trunks and leafy branches frame the small cascade, drawing my eye along the water’s path. The only sound is the creek spilling over the rocks into the pools below.
Laurel Creek flows through the Great Smoky Mountains along the road into Cades Cove, creating a series of small cascades over moss-covered rocks typical of Southern Appalachian streams. The challenge with these forest cascades is managing the extreme contrast between bright water and deep forest shadows, especially when dappled sunlight creates hot spots in both the foliage and the flowing water.
I made this photograph to hold onto the calm I felt there—the shifting water, the shaded rocks, and the rich surrounding greenery. Its natural details give the scene a peaceful, grounded presence.
You can follow the cascade through the photograph, from the upper stream to the clear pools below. The varied greens and warm stone tones bring depth and a gentle sense of movement to your space.
Let this forest scene add calm to your decor, whether displayed in a living room, office, or quiet reading corner.
