Framed prints arrive ready to hang
Framed paper prints are matted with a 2" white mat and protected by non-glare acrylic, so the image stays clear without reflections from windows or lights. Acrylic is lighter and safer to ship than glass, and every framed print arrives with hanging hardware already attached.
MetalPrints with a float mount or frame also arrive ready to hang.

About this photograph
"LDN 1235 Dark Shark Nebula" presents a striking view of a dark nebula located in the constellation Cepheus, approximately 650 light-years from Earth. This photograph captures the intricate interplay of interstellar dust and gas, which obscures the light from distant stars, forming a captivating shark-like silhouette against the backdrop of the Milky Way. The subtle blue hues of reflection nebulae, vdB 149 and vdB 150, add depth and intrigue, illuminated by nearby stars.
The journey to capture this image involved escaping the light pollution of urban skies, allowing for a clearer view of this faint celestial object. With 255 sub frames taken in red, green, blue, and luminance, the post-processing was a meticulous endeavor, revealing the delicate features of this elusive nebula. Each detail reflects a commitment to both artistry and technical skill, showcasing the beauty of the cosmos.
