Framed prints arrive ready to hang
Framed paper prints are matted with a 2" white mat and protected by non-glare acrylic, so the image stays clear without reflections from windows or lights. Acrylic is lighter and safer to ship than glass, and every framed print arrives with hanging hardware already attached.
MetalPrints with a float mount or frame also arrive ready to hang.

About this photograph
Lookout Point in Harpswell overlooks Casco Bay's island-dotted waters, offering classic Maine coastal views—working waterfront, moored boats, tree-covered islands receding into the distance. Sunset here provides warm light that reflects off the calm bay water, creating that doubled color effect when conditions align.
The challenge is timing for both light quality and tidal conditions. You want enough boats visible at their moorings without excessive low-tide mudflats, and sunset light that illuminates both the foreground structures and the water's surface. The rustic pier buildings and moored boats establish the working waterfront character that defines much of Maine's coast.
Casco Bay's protected waters typically offer calmer conditions than the open Atlantic, making mirror-like reflections more achievable. The layered composition—foreground pier, middle-ground boats, background islands—creates depth through atmospheric perspective, with each successive layer becoming slightly hazier and cooler in tone as distance increases.
Sunset light and calm bay waters create layered reflections emphasizing Harpswell's working waterfront and island geography.
